Jio Phone Next Launch Date, Specs and Price in India

Co-developed by Google and Reliance Jio, the Jio Phone Next is the newly launched smartphone, which is a special version of Android. This is an ultra-affordable phone that is expected to be available at a starting price of Rs 6,499. 

Jio Phone Next is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) phone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. This new smartphone comes with a 5.45 inches HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels so that you can see crystal clear visuals while watching videos or playing games. Moreover, the mobile’s display has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and an anti-fingerprint coating.  

You get a 13 MP camera on the back with Digital Zoom and LED flash features for clicking pictures and recording videos. And, on the front, the phone features an 8 MP camera for taking selfies and making video calls.

The Jio Phone Next is available with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB through a microSD card. In addition to this, the mobile is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon QM-215 chipset that would offer an uninterrupted and faster performance while accessing multiple apps simultaneously or browsing the web.

For a clutter-free user interface, the Jio Phone Next runs the Android 11 (Go edition) operating system. Moreover, the smartphone is packed with a 3500 mAh battery that lasts for a longer time duration.

Connectivity options on the Jio Phone Next include 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, mobile hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and more. Besides, there are features like voice assistant, automatic read-aloud of screen text language translation, and many more.
