Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro, 13 LIte global variant’s renders leaked before MWC 2023 launch

Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 13 Lite will be unveiled for the global market at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 later this month, reveals tipster Snoopy Tech. Some reports claimed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra would also debut at the MWC. The tipster added that the Ultra will not debut alongside the aforementioned Xiaomi 13-series phones. In all likelihood, it will break cover in the second quarter of this year in China and on the global market.

The tipster has shared the press renders of the global versions of the Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro, and 13 Lite. The vanilla and Pro models are the same devices that were announced in China in December 2022. However, the Xiaomi 13 Lite seems to be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi CIVI 2, which is available exclusively in the Chinese market.

Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro, and 13 Lite specifications (expected)

The Xiaomi 13 series renders show that it will be identical to its Chinese counterparts. The leaked renders show that the Xiaomi 13 Lite will come in black, blue, and pink colours, whereas the vanilla and Pro models will come in black and white colours. In terms of appearance, the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro have identical designs, meaning the vanilla model appears like a compact version of the Pro model.

The Xiaomi 13 features a 6.36-inch flat AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 12-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 10-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro has a 6.73-inch AMOLED display with curved edges. It offers a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, it has a 32-megapixel selfie snapper, a 50-megapixel 1-inch primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera.

Both phones have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Xiaomi 13 has a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, whereas the Pro model packs a 4,820mAh battery that supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The Xiaomi 13 Lite 13 will house a 6.55-inch OLED panel with curved edges. It offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The pill-shaped punch hole on the screen will feature a 32-megapixel main selfie camera and a 32-megapixel ultra-wide camera with dual-LED flash. The back panel of the device will comprise a 50-megapixel main camera, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 will power the Xiaomi 13 Lite. It may ship with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device will pack a 4,700mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
