Vivo V27 series India launch date, key details confirmed

Vivo V27 series will launch on March 1st, 2023, in India. On the same day, the company will unveil the V27 lineup for the global market. Reports have revealed that the series includes three models, such as the Vivo V27, V27 Pro, and V27e. All three phones are expected to debut on the same date in the global market. However, it is speculated that the V27e will be released in India at a later date.

The landing page for the Vivo V27 series is now available on Vivo India’s website and Flipkart. The official pages have revealed the design of the V27 series.

Vivo V27 design, key features

Vivo V27 Pro

The multiple images of the above-shown V27 series model are now available on the official page. The premium design of the phone suggests that it could be the Pro model. The device features a curved-edge AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

Like last year’s Vivo V25 Pro, the V27 Pro has a colour-changing rear shell. The back panel features a Sony IMX766V 50-megapixel primary camera, two auxiliary cameras, and a ring-LED flash.

The top edge of the Vivo V27 Pro features a microphone. Its bottom edge has a SIM slot, a microphone, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille. For security, it has an under-display fingerprint scanner. The V27 Pro is rumoured to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S16 Pro, which debuted in China last year.

Vivo is yet to reveal the design of the Vivo V27. It is likely to sport the same design language as the Pro model. However, it may feature a flat display.

Our exclusive report from last week revealed that the V27 Pro would arrive in 128GB and 256GB storage options. Both variants will have 8GB of RAM. It will be available in Magic Blue and Noble Black shades. The Pro model is expected to cost less than Rs 40,000.

The V27 Pro is likely to come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a Dimensity 8200 chipset, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,600mAh battery with 66W charging. For photography, it will have a 50-megapixel dual-LED flash and a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.

The Vivo V27 was recently listed on Google Play Console, where some of its key specifications were revealed. As per the listing, the device will arrive with an FHD+ AMOLED display, 8GB of RAM, Android 13 OS, and the upcoming Dimensity 7200 chipset.
