Xiaomi 13 Pro with Leica cameras launched in India: Specifications, Price, and Availability

Xiaomi has unveiled its latest flagship lineup, the Xiaomi 13 series, globally. The series was showcased at the MWC 2023 and includes three models, the vanilla Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, and the affordable 13 Lite. All these phones were launched in China in December last year and now they have arrived in the global market. However in India, we will be getting only the Xiaomi 13 Pro. All the devices pack in the top-of-the-line specifications. Here’s everything you need to know about Xiaomi’s latest flagship offering.

Xiaomi 13 Specifications 

The Xiaomi 13 features a 6.36-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, up to a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,900 nits of brightness. Beneath the display draws power from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. 

Regarding optics, the smartphone features a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 primary camera with OIS support, coupled with a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with OIS support and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. A 4,500mAh battery with 67W wired and 50W wireless fast charging backs the device.

Xiaomi 13 Pro Specifications

The Xiaomi 13 Pro flaunts a 6.73-inch AMOLED LPTO display with a Quad HD+ resolution of 1,440 x 3,200 pixels, up to a 120Hz refresh rate, 1920Hz DC dimming, and up to 1,900 nits of brightness. Under the hood, it draws power from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It runs on the Android 13-based MIUI skin out of the box.

In terms of camera, the smartphone houses an OIS-enabled 1-inch Sony IMX989 50-megapixel primary camera. It is paired with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS support. On the front, it features a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The device is backed by a 4,820mAh battery that supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. It also supports an under-display fingerprint scanner, Dolby Atmos-powered stereo speakers, IP68-rated dust and waterproof chassis.

Xiaomi 13 Lite Specifications 

The Xiaomi 13 Lite comes with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

In terms of the camera, it features a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it houses a dual selfie camera setup with a 32-megapixel primary shooter with an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor. The device gets its juice from the 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

Xiaomi 13 Series Price and Availability

The company has not revealed any details about the Indian availability of the latest flagship and we are expecting the announcement soon. We would also like to remind our readers that the Europen prices are usually a bit higher than Indian prices. As a result, we can expect a cheaper price tag when the latest Xiaomi 13 Pro arrives in India.
