Tecno Megabook T1, Megabook S1 India launch timeframe leaked

Tecno Megabook T1 and Megabook S1 laptops will launch in India soon, reveals a report by 91mobiles. The publication has also tipped the launch timeframe for both devices for the Indian market.

For those who don’t know, the Megabook T1 is Tecno’s first-ever laptop. It was announced at the IFA 2022 tech trade show in September 2022. In December 2022, Tecno held a mega launch event in Dubai to unveil the Phantom X2 series of smartphones. The same platform was used to announce the more powerful Megabook S1 notebook.

Tecno Megabook T1, S1 India launch timeline

According to the report, the Megabook T1 will be announced in June or July 2023. The Megabook S might come out later this year or in the first three months of 2024. The specifications of both models are already known since they were announced for the global market last year.

There is no word on the Indian pricing for both models. The Megabook T1 and S1 were priced at $450 and $1,499, respectively, at launch. It is safe to assume that the Megabook T1 will be priced lower than the S1.

Tecno Megabook T1 specifications

The Megabook T1 has a 15.6-inch IPS Full HD display. It is powered by the 11th generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors. The notebook offers 12GB / 16GB of RAM and 512GB / 1TB of SSD storage. It has a 70Wh battery that supports 65W charging. It measures 14.8mm in thickness and weighs around 1.48 kg.

Tecno Megabook S1 specifications

The Megabook S1 is a more powerful device since it features the 12th generation Core i7 processor and a 15.6-inch IPS display that offers a 3.2K resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate. The notebook has 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB / 1TB of SSD storage. It comes with other features like a 70Wh battery with 65W charging and a six-speaker system. It is a slimmer device, measuring 13.5 =mm in thickness, and it weighs around 1.35kg. Both models run on Windows 11 Home edition.
