Pete Lau, co-founder and CEO of the famous Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus is proactive on social media nowadays, posting more about the Oppo devices and praising their technology. In the latest post, the CEO shared a close-up image of a phone showcasing the camera module. The image shared by Lau shows a 1-inch sensor along with a leather finish back with a caption saying, “We’re entering a new era of mobile imaging.”

The post didn’t mention anything about the smartphone, which is going to adapt the camera technology. But it’s quite evident that the company is ready for the rebranding business. The image of the camera module shared by Lau is similar to the one seen on Oppo Find X6 Pro. The handset uses a 1-inch sensor engineered by Hasselblad, and the Find X6 Pro offers a leather back which is showcased in the Twitter post.

Meanwhile, it’s also worth noticing that Oppo is planning to launch the Find X6 series in the home country, and there might be a possibility that the company is introducing a leather-back variant of the smartphone. The company has recently confirmed that the device will be launched on March 21, 2023. A promotional poster of the launch has also been circulated on the Chinese social media website, suggesting that the launch will be commenced on March 21 at 14:00 PM local time (11:30 AM IST) in China.

The Oppo Find X6 Pro is tipped to arrive with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is said to draw power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, clubbed with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. On the camera front, the Find X6 Pro is tipped to feature a triple rear camera setup with a combination of 50MP + 50MP + 50MP sensors. The selfie camera is said to boast a 32MP snapper.
