Tata Nexon Catches Fire at Gate, Quick-Thinking Security Guards Prevents Disaster

A video shared on YouTube recently showed the quick responsiveness of security guards who could extinguish a fire that had engulfed a Tata Nexon petrol sub-compact SUV. The video, shared by DWA Cars on their channel, showed the CCTV footage of the incident where a security guard noticed the fire underneath the Nexon as it approached the gate. The guard alerted his colleague and both of them rushed to get fire extinguishers. The driver and passenger of the Nexon also quickly got out of the car as the guards started pouring down fire extinguishers on the car.

The video highlighted the importance of having fire extinguishers available in case of emergencies. The presenter suggested that the fire could have been caused by a potential leak in the fuel lines in the engine compartment. He also pointed out that if this incident had occurred on a highway where fire extinguishers were not available, the situation could have been a lot different.

This incident comes just a few months after an MG Hector caught on fire in the open. According to a Twitter user named Pradeepa Rao, who shared pictures and a video of the incident, the SUV stopped abruptly while she, her friend, and her pet were driving it. She noticed smoke coming out of the bonnet and quickly got out of the car along with her friend and pet. The MG Hector was entirely charred as it burned to ashes in less than fifteen minutes.
