Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s launch date has appeared in a leaked poster on Weibo. Several reports have claimed that the flagship phone will debut in April this year. Last week, the device was approved by China’s 3C authority, which indicates that it will debut as early as next month in the home market.

In addition, Xiaomiui claims that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s MIUI software appears to be ready on the official MIUI server. This also hints that its launch may not be far away. The below-shown image that surfaced on the Chinese microblogging platform reveals that the 13 Ultra will be unveiled at 7 pm (local time) on April 17.

While the above poster looks legitimate, its authenticity could not be confirmed. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra launch event on April 17 may also see the arrival of other products, including the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro series. It is speculated that the 13 Ultra will release in markets outside of China by May. While the Pad 6 Pro may remain exclusive to the Chinese market, the vanilla model is expected to release in other markets.

At present, Xiaomi is focused on the launch of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo phone, which is scheduled to launch on March 28th, 2023. If the above-mentioned launch date is true for the 13 Ultra, the company may start teasing its arrival by early April.

Rumours are rife that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will have a 6.7-inch E6 AMOLED display with curved edges. It will offer a Quad HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. It will feature a 32-megapixel front camera and a quad-camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch camera. The main snapper will be paired with an ultra-wide lens, a telephoto camera, and a periscope zoom lens.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage will power the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. It may pack a 5,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. It will run on the Android 13 OS and MIUI 14.
