ASUS ROG Phone 7 India launch date has been confirmed. The Taiwanese tech giant will announce the gaming smartphone on April 13th, 2023. The smartphone will go official at the same time in other markets, such as the US, China, and Taiwan.

While ASUS launched the ROG Phone 6 series of gaming phones last year, they were not made available in India. Hence, the ROG Phone 7 will succeed the ROG Phone 5s series, which was announced in February 2022. The rumour mill has revealed a few specifications of the ROG Phone 7. The ASUS ROG Phone 7 is likely to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. Hence, it is likely that the device will be equipped with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. There is a possibility that the highest variant of the device may offer 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

It is speculated the ROG Phone 7 will have a 6.8-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The device will run on Android 13 OS, which will be overlaid with ROG UI.

The TENAA certification of the ROG Phone 7 revealed that it could come with a 6,000mAh battery. Its 3C certification suggests that it may offer 65W rapid charging.

ASUS is known for announcing its gaming phones in vanilla and Pro versions. It is unclear whether the company will also be launching the ROG Phone 7 Pro on April 13th.

ASUS ROG Phone 7 price in India (rumoured)

At present, there is no information on the price of the ROG Phone 7 for the Indian market. Since the topmost model of the ROG Phone 5s was priced at Rs 59,999 at launch, it is likely that the ROG Phone 7 may cost around Rs 65,000 to Rs 70,000.
