Redmi Note 12 Turbo display, RAM, storage, durability details officially confirmed

Redmi Note 12 Turbo is scheduled to launch on March 28th, 2023. It will debut as the world’s first phone powered by the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset. With only a few days remaining for the launch, the company is rolling out teasers to confirm the key features of the Note 12 Turbo.

The Note 12 Turbo will be arriving as the most powerful Note 12-series phone. According to reports, the device will be rebranded as the POCO F5 in India and other markets. Here is a look at all the new features that Redmi has confirmed about the Note 12 Turbo.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will have a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with incredibly thin borders. It will support 12-bit colours, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 100 precent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a 1920Hz PWM dimming.

When it comes to durability, the company said that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo would feature a four-corner reinforced design. The motherboard will be reinforced with steel, making the device strong and durable.

The company also confirmed that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo would have 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Speculation is rife that the base model of the device may offer 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device will come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and 67W fast charging support.

The Note 12 Turbo is expected to come preloaded with Android 13 OS and MIUI 14. It is likely to come equipped with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The back panel of the device will feature a 64-megapixel main camera, which is likely to be accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

It is speculated that the device may cost around RMB 2,299 (~Rs 27,600) in China.  The device is shown in the Ice Feather White colour variant above. In the coming days, the company is expected to confirm its other colour variants.
