The PS5 was launched in India in February 2021, and since then, it has been one of the most popular gaming consoles in the market. The company stated, “PlayStation India has announced a special summer offer wherein customers can get Rs 5,000/-* discount on all variants of the PS5 console.” It also confirmed that this “limited period” offer would be available starting April 1 2023.

With this new price cut, the PS5 Digital Edition, previously priced at Rs 44,990, will now be available for Rs 39,990. Similarly, the standard PS5, previously priced at Rs 54,990, will now be available for Rs 49,990.

Along with that, the God of War Ragnarok Bundle would cost Rs 54,990 instead of Rs 59,990. Interestingly, this was the original price when PS5 was released over two years ago. It will be available on various online and offline stores, including Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Games the Shop, ShopatSC, Reliance Digital, VijaySales, and other authorized dealers.

The PS5 is known for its powerful hardware and features, such as lightning-fast load times, 4K graphics, and support for immersive audio. It also offers a range of exclusive games, such as Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, which are highly rated by both critics and gamers.

This price cut is expected to boost the sales of PS5 in India, which has been facing supply constraints due to the ongoing global semiconductor shortage. It is also likely to give tough competition to the Xbox Series X, which is the main rival of PS5.
