Xiaomi Teases Harry Potter-Themed Special Edition Redmi Note 12 Turbo

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series has always been popular among budget smartphone users, offering impressive features at an affordable price. The special Harry Potter edition of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo has been teased on Weibo before its official launch.

The special edition is expected to be released later this month, following the official debut of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo in China. There’s no word on the availability outside China. However, we expect that the partnership will expand to other markets outside of China.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo Harry Potter Edition

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo Harry Potter edition will have customized packaging with the Hogwarts logo in the centre of the box and Redmi X Harry Potter branding at the bottom. Customers who purchase the limited edition will also receive the Magic Wand and flags representing various Hogwarts teams inside the box. In addition, the device is expected to offer custom themes, icon packs, and other unique features exclusive to the Harry Potter edition.

In the teaser images shared by Xiaomi, the rear camera module of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo appears to be similar to the standard model. However, the ‘Harry Potter’ edition of the phone features engraved text that reads ‘Wizarding World’ and ‘Harry Potter’ and includes the iconic ‘Hogwarts’ emblem printed on the back panel.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo Expected Specifications

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is expected to flaunt a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a punch-hole cutout, and narrow bezels. Beneath the display, it is said to draw power from the Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device will likely run on Android 13 OS-based MIUI 14 out of the box.

Regarding optics, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo is expected to house a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera and a 16MP selfie shooter. The device will pack a 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
