The Kia EV9 electric SUV claims to be a lot of fun to drive despite its size. The electric motor powering the long-range variant will provide 350 Nm of maximum torque and 201 horsepower of power. The base model has a 215 hp power output and a 350 Nm maximum torque. The most potent AWD model features two electric motors with a combined output of 380 horsepower and a whopping 600 Nm of peak torque. Also, Kia will provide a Boost option as an add-on that can boost torque to 700 Nm and speed up acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds.

Kia EV9 Security Features

The EV9 will feature level 3 ADAS technology in the higher-spec GT-Line model through its Highway Driving Pilot program. To make driving easier, 15 sensors will be mounted all over the vehicle. Lidar laser sensors, cameras, radar, and ultrasonics will all be among the sensors. The EV9 will also feature a parking collision prevention aid system, smart cruise control with navigation, and blind-spot collision avoidance help.

The EV9 will be available from Kia with six or seven seats. Corn, sugar cane, natural oils, and recycled PET bottles are just a few of the ecological and recycled resources used to construct the inside. The dashboard is dominated by three screens, including a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a similar-sized digital instrument cluster. Captain seats in the centre row will be able to rotate 180 degrees. The second and third rows can be folded flat to create a substantial cargo area.
