Now, tipster Yogesh Brar is offering new details on the Indian pricing of the ASUS ROG Phone 7, claiming it would sell in the price range between Rs 70,000 and 80,000. This could also mean a higher price tag for the ROG Phone 7 Pro and Ultimate models. For comparison, the entry-level ROG Phone 6 was launched in India at Rs 71,999.

ASUS ROG Phone 7 rumoured specifications

The hardware specs of the ROG Phone 7 hasn’t been officially confirmed by ASUS yet. However, numerous leaks and appearances on certification sites have given us a decent idea of what to expect from the device. Brar also offers a rundown of the phone’s hardware before mentioning the estimated price range.

Customers can expect a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate, making it an ideal companion for super high-resolution gaming. There’s also going to be Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset underneath the ROG Phone 7. Customers should find 12 and 16GB RAM options, paired with 256GB and 512GB of internal storage. Other features, such as an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and the 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging are also carried over from the ROG Phone 6.

A triple rear camera layout has been mentioned, which should include a 50-megapixel primary shooter, a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 5-megapixel sensor for macro shots, pretty much the same arrangement as the ROG Phone 6. So it seems like the Taiwanese electronics giant is marketing the ROG Phone 7 as a minor upgrade over the predecessor. It’s also possible that the company will introduce some other upgrades, such as improved CPU cooling and overall design.
