It was first showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in February and is now available for purchase in India. This is the most affordable foldable phone in the country. Interested customers can also opt for no-cost EMI for up to 24 months. Furthermore, Tecno is offering a two-year warranty with the Phantom V Fold, and it comes with a six-month free one-time screen replacement warranty with free pickup and drop service.

Tecno Phantom V Fold Specifications

The Phantom V Fold has a 6.42-inch AMOLED LTPO cover display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the inside, it flaunts a 7.85-inch foldable AMOLED LTPO panel with a resolution of 2,000 x 2,296 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it draws power from the Dimensity 9000 Plus SoC paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on HiOS-flavored Android 13 OS.

Regarding optics, the smartphone houses 50MP + 50MP + 13MP triple rear camera. It features a 32MP camera on the cover display and a 16MP on the inner display. A 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging backs the device.
