POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro RAM, storage, and colour variants have been leaked by reliable tipster Paras Guglani. Rumours are rife the POCO F5 and F5 Pro will be rebranded versions of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Redmi K60, respectively, which are exclusively available in China.

It is speculated that the POCO F5 and F5 Pro will debut in the global market. However, India may receive only the POCO F5. The reason behind it is that even though the Indian variant of the F5 Pro has been seen at the IMEI database in the past, there is no trace of MIUI build for it so far.  Hence, the POCO F5 Pro is unlikely to release in India. Redmi Note 12 Turbo

According to the tipster, the POCO F5 will be offered in three colour options – Blue, Black, and White, while the POCO F5 Pro will come in Black and White colours only.

In addition, both the POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro are expected to be available in two configurations, such as 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. While there has been no official confirmation from POCO yet, tech enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the release of these new smartphones. It appears that the F5 duo may debut later this month or in May.

POCO F5, F5 Pro specifications (rumoured)

The POCO F5 and F5 Pro are expected to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED 120Hz display. The vanilla model will support FHD+ resolution and have a side-facing fingerprint scanner, while the Pro model will support QHD+ resolution and have an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The POCO F5 and F5 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, respectively. These devices will be equipped with common features like LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, 67W charging, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 64-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit on the back.

The POCO F5 will house a 5,000mAh battery. The F5 Pro, on the other hand, will pack a larger 5,500mAh battery with 30W wireless charging support. Both phones will run on the MIUI 14-based Android 13.
