In addition to making some excellent value-for-money smartphones, Realme is also known for its wide range of TWS earbuds. A new exclusive by 91Mobiles now gives us a decent look at the company’s upcoming offering, the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro, courtesy of an FCC (Federal Communications Commission) listing.
The earbuds’ arrival at FCC is not particularly a surprise, especially since we already knew about the Buds Air 5 Pro’s imminent arrival courtesy of a leaked render earlier this week. For those wondering why the manufacturer has jumped from the Buds Air 3 to Buds Air 5, it’s due to the practice of avoiding the number 4 in China, as it’s considered unlucky in the region.

What do we know about the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro?
Based on the available information, the Buds Air 5 Pro should have a 60mAh battery (on each earbud) while the charging case should offer a 460 mAh battery pack, theoretically enough to recharge the earbuds 3-4 times. 91Mobiles suggests that the battery should be sufficient to keep the earbuds going for at least 24 hours. Customers will likely be able to get the Realme Buds Air 5 in multiple colour options.
Meanwhile, we’ve also learned that the new Realme TWS earbuds will feature a frequency range of 2402Hz – 2480Hz. The previously leaked render (pictured below) suggests that the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro will bear design similarities to its predecessor, with the changes (if any) occurring under the hood.
The earbuds are reportedly going through the testing phase, indicating that the launch date may not be far away. Considering the lack of any major upgrades with the Buds Air 5 Pro, we expect the price tag to remain unchanged.
