Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 specifications have been leaked. In a new report, Xiaomiui has revealed that the Xiaomi device with model number 2308CPXD0C that has surfaced in the IMEI database will arrive in the market as the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3. It further mentioned that the device has the “Babylon” codename and the “M18” shortened model number. It will arrive as a successor to the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, which debuted as a China-exclusive device last year.

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is expected to retain the internal and external displays that were made available on the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2. The foldable phone will have a 6.5-inch OLED cover screen and an 8.02-inch OLED inner foldable display. Both screens will support an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. For security, it will have a side-facing fingerprint scanner. It will come preloaded with Android 13 OS and MIUI 14.
There is no information on the cameras that will be available on the outer and inner displays. The publication has revealed that it will have a Leica-optimised quad-camera system on the back featuring a 1-inch, Sony IMX989 50-megapixel primary camera. It will be coupled with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel IMX858 telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel IMX858 periscope zoom camera. Hence, it will have the same camera setup that is available on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage are what will power the MIX Fold 3. According to a Chinese tipster, the device will be available in 16GB RAM + 1TB storage configurations. There is a possibility that it may also come in other variants.
There is no word on the battery size of the MIX Fold 3. However, it is expected to support 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The MIX Fold 3 is said to be slimmer and lighter than its predecessor. It is also said to feature an IP-certified, waterproof chassis. However, its actual IP rating is yet to be confirmed.

The “2308” numbers in the model code of the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 indicate that it is planned to launch in August this year. However, like the predecessor model, the MIX Fold 3 will likely remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
