Rockstar Games Might Launch GTA 6 on May 17

GTA fans worldwide have been waiting for the release of the next version of the game, GTA 5.

Various Twitter users now believe the next addition to the Grand Theft Auto series will be announced before May 17. 

Why May 17? Because it is the date of investors’ call for Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games. Usually, at these investor calls, something related to new games would be announced. 

Not only about the investor call, but a gamer named @HipHopGamer has also posted this on Twitter:

The person alongside him is the Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, and he seems to be involved with GTA 6 in some manner and that the work with that is done.

GTA 6 Leaks

GTA 6 was already leaked earlier this year, with the game in an early testing phase, as far as we can see. The leak revealed stuff like the two protagonists of GTA 6, reportedly called Jason and Lucia. That’s right, a GTA game for the first time will come with a woman as the lead. 

The leak also possibly revealed co-op story mode, and we will return to Vice City – GTA’s fictional version of Miami. The clips show various references to Vice City and VCPD. It also revealed that the game would follow the 5-star system from GTA 5 and won’t return to the earlier 6-star system.
