JioCinema, the video-on-demand OTT platform, is leaving no stone unturned to make the platform a hit among digital users. Currently, the streaming service has brought to the OTT viewing table the biggest cricket league, the Indian Premier League. The streamer is minting viewership with the men’s T20 IPL. Recently, more than 100 upcoming titles were announced by Jio Studios that will be available on JioCinema sooner or later. The titles like Dunki, Stree 2, Bloody Daddy, Bhediya 2, and many others are all included in the list. HBO and Warner Bros. content will be available on JioCinema

According to reports, Reliance Viacom 18 has finalised a deal with Warner Bros Discovery Inc. Strengthening its streamer JioCinema’s hold; the streaming service is all set to bring to the OTT table exclusive HBO content and as well as Warner Bros content. Many well-known series like Last of Us, Game of Thrones, Succession, and the upcoming Harry Potter web series will stream on  JioCinema. Reportedly, the OTT platform will soon offer access to these and many other popular shows.

Reports state that Warner Bros. popular titles cannot be offered to OTT players like Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, and others. However, there is no official confirmation of this massive development currently.

The content from Paramount Plus, too, will be available on the platform soon. If reports are to be believed, this content could be available on the JioCinema starting next month.

JioCinema to Start Charging for its Content Soon

Post-India Premier League 2023, the entertainment streamer JioCinema will start charging for its content. JioCinema Gold premium subscription will cost Rs. 99 for three months. Their daily premium plan will cost Rs. 2 per day. And the Platinum plan will cost Rs. 599 for 12 months. They are currently showcased on a test website.
