Sita Ramam Hindi OTT Release Date: Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur starrer is available in Hindi on Disney+ Hotstar

Sita Ramam, the 2022 period romantic Telugu film, caught cinema lovers’ attention and made heads turn. It was well-liked by the critics as well as the audience.  The period romantic entertainer became the ninth highest-grossing Telugu language film in 2022. The film was released theatrically on August 5. The Hanu Raghavapudi film stars Mrunal Thakur, Dulquer Salmaan, and Rashmika Mandanna as central characters. With a runtime of nearly 163 minutes, the movie was made on a budget of Rs. 30 crores and earned between Rs. 91 and Rs. 98 crores at the box office. Sita Ramam has now added one more precious feather to its cap. It has won the Best Film 2023 Jury at the 13th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival.

Sita Ramam Hindi OTT Release Date: Where and When to Stream It

After its theatrical release, Sita Ramam made its way to OTT platforms. The movie is available on Amazon Prime Video in Telugu and Tamil audio formats. It is also available in Hindi digitally. After creating a lot of buzz with its theatrical and OTT release, Disney+ Hotstar has bagged the rights to Sita Ramam Hindi. The movie is streaming on the platform in Hindi. Sita Ramam Hindi arrived digitally on November 18, 2022.

Annapurna Studios and Lyca Productions were Sita Ramam’s distribution partners in Tamil Nadu. In Kerala and North India, the movie was distributed by Pen Studios. The film’s principal photography began in Kashmir in April 2021. The shooting wrapped up a year later, in April 2022. Sony Music India owns the audio rights.

Sita Ramam Storyline

Sita Ramam is set in 1964. It is a beautiful film, telling the tale of the titular characters, Sita  (Mrunal Thakur) and Ram (Dulquer Salmaan), and the love blossoming between them. The movie follows the story of Lieutenant Ram, an orphaned officer serving in the army, and Sita Mahalakshmi/Princess Noor Jahan. The crux of the storyline is the anonymous love letters Ram starts receiving from Sita, and then he decides to find Sita and profess his love to her. Sita and Ram’s tale begins in the purest form with the letters and envelops everyone in a warm blanket of love.
