Tamil web series Mathagam Coming Soon on Disney+ Hotstar

A leading streaming service has announced a new drama-thriller web series. Titled Mathagam, the series is gearing up to arrive digitally soon. Atharvaa Murali, last seen in the 2022 Kollywood entertainer Pattathu Arasan, plays one of the lead characters in the web series. Manikandan, Nikhila Vimal, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Munnar Ramesh, Dilnaz Irani, and others star in it. The first look poster and a short video reveal promo have been released online. Mathagam OTT Release Date: Where and When to Watch the Series

The entertainment video-on-demand platform Disney+ Hotstar will be streaming the web series Mathagam. The Hotstar Specials will be available in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Malayalam, and Marathi audio formats. Though the digital streaming date has not been confirmed, it is expected to arrive on the OTT platform sooner rather than later.

Disney+ Hotstar Tamil shared the Mathagam reveal promo on YouTube on May 3, 2023. So far, it has garnered 21,669 views and nearly 500 likes. The trailer of the series is still awaited. From the one-minute, thirteen-second project promo, it can be deciphered that the users have an exciting drama on the cards to watch.

Mathagam: About the Series

There is not much clarity on the storyline of the web series. But it is touted as the ultimate battle between good and evil. The short promo description asks digital enthusiasts to get ready to experience a faceoff like never before. From the promo reveal video, it can be understood that a chase will begin between the men in uniform against the evil. The video has everything from the sound of police sirens to guns, bullets, gunshots, a saw with blood, a sickle, the echo of screams, and more, altogether setting the precedent that Mathagam will be an absolute edge-of-your-seat thriller.

The hashtag #TheNightisLong rolls at the end of the video. Atharvaa Murali plays the character of Ashwath Rathnakumar. Praveen Anthony is the editor, and Edwin Sakay is the cinematographer.
