OnePlus is tipped to launch its foldable phone in August of this year. Google has just revealed the launch date of Pixel Fold, which will happen on May 10. It now seems like the foldable from OnePlus will not be so far out. 

Tipster Max Jambor has revealed that the phone could launch in August of this year, although he hasn’t revealed anything about the exact launch date.

It also seems that Max Jambor has posted a teaser of the phone along with the post. Nothing is revealed in the poster, but let’s talk about what we can expect from OnePlus Fold. 

What To Expect From OnePlus Foldable?

OnePlus’ foldable phone was also tipped previously to be named OnePlus V Fold. It was spotted earlier in the CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration), the trademark authority of China, that OnePlus has applied for two patents – OnePlus V Fold and OnePlus V Flip. That means OnePlus might also be working on a flip foldable as well. 

We can expect OnePlus Fold or OnePlus V Fold to come with a design similar to the Oppo’s foldable, the Oppo Find N2. That’s obviously because of the fact that OnePlus is a sub-brand of Oppo, and Oppo usually uses similar hardware among its brands. 

Nothing specific about the features and specifications of the device has been leaked till now. We’ll wait for the leaks.
