On Thursday, May 11, Elon Musk announced that he has hired a fresh CEO for Twitter. Although he did not reveal the name of the individual, media reports state that Linda Yaccarino, a senior executive at Comcast NBCUniversal, is currently in discussions for the role. In a tweet, Musk expressed his excitement about the new hire, stating that the CEO will begin in approximately six weeks.

After leading Twitter as its CEO since October 2022, Elon Musk has announced that he will be transitioning to the role of Chief Technology Officer within the next few weeks.
