Realme’s upcoming flagship, the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G, is rumoured to launch soon, with aspects like the 200-megapixel rear camera sensor confirmed by Realme already. The company has now scheduled an event for May 16, with the device possibly on the agenda. 

A recent tweet by the company looked to differentiate itself from other 200-megapixel camera phones, suggesting that Realme’s solution is not a “gimmick.” It’s early to tell if the company will live up to this promise.

Realme 11 Pro+ 5G rumoured specifications

While we already know about the 200-megapixel camera on the next Realme flagship, we’ve also learned about some of its hardware attributes, courtesy of leaks and rumours. The aforementioned camera will be complemented by two other sensors, an 8-megapixel and a 2-megapixel unit. We can expect a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED screen backed by a refresh rate of 120Hz.

 

MediaTek’s Dimensity 7050 chipset should be onboard, coupled with at least 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. For selfies, MediaTek is likely to go with a 16-megapixel sensor, while rumours have pointed to the existence of a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast wired charging support. Android 13 will reportedly be the software of choice, with the RealmeUI 4.0 UI overlay. 

We’ve also learned that the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G would be available in Astral Black, Sunrise Beige, and Oasis Green. The smartphone has already been revealed in China this past week, but global customers have to wait until May 16 to learn more about the device.
