Redmi A2 Series to Launch in India on May 19

Redmi A2 Series India Launch

As you already know, the Redmi A2 Series is launching on May 19. The company has teased the Redmi A2 as a “Desh Ka Smartphone”, which translates to “A smartphone for the country.” The launch event is scheduled at 11:00 AM, where the company will announce the price and availability details of the series.

Redmi A2 Series Specifications

The Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ have similar specifications, but the only difference between the two is that the latter has a rear fingerprint sensor. Besides, the Redmi A2 series flaunts a 6.52-inch LCD display with 720 x 1600 pixel resolution. Under the hood, the devices draw power from the MediaTek Helio G36 processor paired with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Both devices run on the Android 12 (Go Edition) out-of-the-box.

Regarding optics, the Redmi A2 series houses an 8MP + QVGA camera setup at the back and a 5MP selfie shooter. The devices are backed by a 5,000mAh battery which supports 10W charging.
