iQOO Neo 8 Geekbench listing appears to reveal chipset, RAM

iQOO Neo 8 Geekbench listing has been spotted. As usual, the listing has revealed its chipset, RAM, and OS ahead of its official announcement, which is set to take place on May 23rd, 2023, in China. On the same date, the brand will also unveil the iQOO Neo 8 Pro alongside the iQOO Neo 8.

The company has already confirmed that the Neo 8 Pro will debut as the first-ever Dimensity 9200 Plus-powered smartphone. The D9200+ is currently the most powerful chip from MediaTek. The Geekbench listing of the Neo 8 reveals that it will feature a flagship chip from Qualcomm.

The iQOO Neo 8 has appeared with model number V2301A on Geekbench. The CPU and GPU details available in the listing revealed that the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.

The SoC is paired with 16GB of RAM, and the device runs on Android 13 OS. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the device scored 1678 and 4345 points, respectively.

iQOO Neo 8 specifications (rumoured)

The detailed specifications of the iQOO Neo 8 are yet to be revealed. Past reports have claimed that it will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate. The device is likely to ship with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The Neo 8 will have a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. It will feature a 16-megapixel front camera and an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel triple camera setup on the back. The device will come with other features such as the OriginOS 3 UI and an under-display fingerprint scanner.

It is speculated that the iQOO’s first tablet, dubbed the iQOO Pad, will also debut alongside the iQOO Neo 8 series. At present, there is no word on the launch of these products in India.
