The past few weeks have been dominated by news about Apple’s iPhone 15 series, with the occasional iPhone 16 rumours sprinkled in. YouTube channel AppleTrack has now managed to obtain dummy units of the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Pro, detailing some of their design attributes.

Apple iPhone 15 Pro rumoured specifications

Based on what we know so far, Apple will stick to the same 6.1-inch OLED screen with the iPhone 15 Pro, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max will utilise a 6.7-inch OLED panel. On the performance front, both Pro models should be sporting the A17 Bionic SoC,

While no display upgrades are expected this year, Apple is rumoured to offer a new periscope camera sensor exclusively on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The lack of space led Apple to ditch the periscope sensor for the smaller iPhone 15 Pro model, per reports.

The periscope camera would unlock 6x optical zoom capabilities, according to initial reporting. We have also heard that the bezels on the iPhone 15 Pro Max could be the slimmest of any iPhone so far, which is certainly something to look forward to.

Apple could unveil its next-gen iPhones at a dedicated event sometime in September, although there’s no precise date to mark on our calendars just yet. The iPhone 14 series was revealed on September 7, 2022, whereas the iPhone 13 lineup debuted on September 14, 2021.
