The leak reveals that the OnePlus 12 could be the first smartphone from the brand to feature a periscope zoom camera. Qualcomm is expected to announce the next-generation chip in November this year. According to the tipster, the OnePlus 12 will be equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It appears that it will continue to feature a punch-hole screen with curved edges and an in-display fingerprint scanner, like the OnePlus 11.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is likely to power the OnePlus 12. While it is not mentioned in the leak, it appears that it could be equipped with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The device is expected to run on Android 14 OS and OxygenOS 14.

There is no word on the front camera of the OnePlus 12. However, the leak states that it will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope zoom camera.

The OP12 will arrive with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 100W charging. It is unclear whether the device will lack support for wireless charging.

The OnePlus 11 debuted in December 2022 in China and was announced in February this year in India. Hence, it is likely that the OnePlus 12 will arrive in the Indian market by the first quarter of 2024.
