Redmi 12 price and specifications have been leaked in a report by Dealabs. Rumours are rife that Xiaomi will announce the device on June 2nd, 2023, in Europe. The device was recently approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which indicates that it will also be released in India in the near future.

The Redmi 12, which features the Helio G88 chip, is positioned higher than the Helio G85-powered Redmi 12C, which was announced in the recent past in India and other markets. Here is all the information that is known about the Redmi 12.

According to the publication, the Redmi 12 will arrive with a 6.79-inch IPS LCD display that offers an FHD+ resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels, a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, a 396 ppi pixel density, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 3.

The Redmi 12 will feature the Helio G88 chipset and 4GB of RAM. The device will arrive with 128GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for additional storage. The Redmi 12 will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.

The Redmi 12 will have an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. On the back, it will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro snapper. The device will run on the MIUI 13-based Android 12 OS. The handset will come with other features like dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an IR blaster, a USB Type-C port, dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The handset will measure 168.60 x 76.28 x 8.17mm and weigh around 199 grams.

According to the report, the Redmi 12, which will come in a 4GB+128GB version only, will be priced at 199 euros (~Rs 17,500). It will be sold in shades like black, silver, and blue.
