Details regarding the same were shared many years ago, and after a significant increase in the budget, multiple delays and more, the makers have shared information regarding the film’s release and OTT rights. Fans can watch Hanu Man on Zee5. While the official details about the OTT rights have been revealed, the makers are yet to share the dates for the same. Meanwhile, the film will hit screens in July 2023. The audience will be able to watch it in Telugu as the primary language. For others, makers will release the dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, English, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese.

Hanu Man: Cast and Crew

Written and directed by Prasanth Varma, the film is produced by K. Niranjan Reddy under the production company Primeshow Entertainment. The movie features Teja Sajja as Hanumanthu, Amritha Aiyer as Meenakshi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as Anjamma, Vinay Rai as Michael, along with Vennela Kishore, Satya, Getup Srinu, Raj Deepak Shetty, and Vinay Rai. The cinematography is handled by Dasaradhi Shivendra, and the editing is done by Sai Babu Talari. The music for the film is composed by Anudeep Dev, Hari Gowra, and Krishna Saurabh.

Set in the fictional village of Anjanadri, Hanu Man serves as the inaugural chapter of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), followed by Adhira. This film revolves around the life of Hanu, a young man bestowed with the extraordinary abilities of Lord Hanuman. Utilizing his newfound powers, Hanu dedicates himself to combatting criminality and safeguarding the innocent. Hanu Man aims to deliver a mesmerizing visual experience and exhilarating action sequences with breathtaking visuals.

Hanu Man: Pre-release Buzz

Director Varma made the announcement of Hanu Man on his birthday in May 2021 and mentioned that this would be his fourth film. The upcoming project was revealed to be the first-ever superhero film in Telugu cinema. In a media interview, he expressed that the film draws inspiration from the Hindu deity Hanuman. Adding further, he explained that the title was chosen as a tribute to the numerous individuals who associate the concept of superpowers or superheroes from Hindu mythology.

The makers had released ‘Hanuman Chalisa’, marking the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. The video has now crossed over 5.5M views on YouTube.
