Xiaomi has extended the warranty of five smartphones in India. The announcement has come through the company’s official Discord channel. The extension covers the following models: Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Mi 11 Ultra, and Poco X3 Pro.
As it is known, users of these smartphones encounter a range of issues, including motherboard failure and camera malfunctions. The anticipated warranty extension is expected to provide relief to these individuals, addressing their concerns.

If customers in India have purchased any of the aforementioned devices within the last two years and are presently facing difficulties related to the selfie camera or motherboard, Xiaomi bears the responsibility to address and rectify these issues in accordance with the warranty.
To take advantage of the extended warranty, customers must provide the purchase invoice of their phone at the nearest Xiaomi service centre. Repairs or replacements will be offered at no cost within the scope of the extended warranty unless the company deems the issues to be beyond the coverage. It is important to note that rooted phones, liquid damage, tampering, or cases with physical damage will not be eligible for extended support.
The extension of warranty coverage highlights its restricted scope, suggesting that Xiaomi has recognized potential issues related to these particular phones and components. Specifically, the company will primarily focus on addressing two specific issues: System UI unresponsiveness and front camera malfunction on the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max. For the Poco X3 Pro, Xiaomi will specifically address the power-on fault.
While the warranty extension announcement has only come through Xiaomi India’s Discord, it appears that the company may soon release an official confirmation on it through its social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, apart from its official website, for a wider reach.
