Xiaomi has been on a roll recently, with the Redmi Buds 4 confirmed to land in India imminently, along with the Xiaomi Pad 6. The company’s not particularly new to the foldable segment, with the likes of the Mix Fold 2 launching last year and a successor already on the way.
But the manufacturer doesn’t have a clamshell foldable just yet. But if this new revelation by Digital Chat Station is anything to go by, the Chinese OEM could be finally ready to take the leap. Motorola’s Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra were recently launched and are on course to launch in India via Amazon. Oppo
Meanwhile, we’ve recently learned that Samsung is prepping to announce its new duo of foldables — the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 — in July. Keeping this in mind, Xiaomi may be right to finally make the leap to clamshell foldables to complement the Mix Fold 2.
