Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 specifications have been leaked by tipster Yogesh Brar. The South Korean tech giant is expected to hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event in the last week of July in Seoul, South Korea. Alongside it, the company is also expected to announce a couple of other devices, such as the Galaxy Buds 3 TWS earbuds, the Galaxy Watch 6 series, the Galaxy Tab S9 family, and the Galaxy Z Flip 5.

According to the tipster, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will feature a 7.6-inch QXGA+ AMOLED foldable display with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the outside, it will have a 6.2-inch HD+ AMOLED cover display offering an HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to come preloaded with One UI 5.1.1-based Android 13.
Powering the device is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Most likely, it will feature the overclocked version of the chip, which works at 3.36GHz. It is said to be the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chip that powers the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. The chip will be coupled with 12GB of RAM and storage options such as 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
In terms of photography, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is said to come equipped with a versatile rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. For selfies, a 4-megapixel under-display camera is expected, while an outer 10-megapixel camera is also expected. The Z Fold 5 will pack a 4,400mAh battery with 25W fast charging. A recent report showed that it may also offer an IP58-rated resistance.
