Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5’s new image has been shared by tipster Ice Universe. According to the tipster, the Z Fold 5 boasts a 16 percent reduction in thickness compared to its predecessor, the Fold4, measuring only 13.4mm.

The tipster added that while the Galaxy Z Fold 5 remains slightly thicker than some Chinese foldable phones, it boasts a premium texture and does not give off a cheap appearance. He also said that the gold version of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is an improvement over the Z Fold 4, enhancing its overall aesthetics.

In another leak, tipster Ishan Agarwal revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 will arrive in multiple storage variants, such as 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. It is expected to arrive in shades colour variants like Phantom Black, Cream, and Icy Blue.

In the same leak, the tipster claimed that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will arrive in storage options, such as 128 GB and 256 GB. It is expected to arrive in shades, such as Graphite, Cream, Lavender, and Mint.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 will be announced on Wednesday (July 26th) along with other products, such as the Galaxy Tab S9 series and the Galaxy Watch 6 series. Those who are interested in the new foldable can pre-reserve them by purchasing a refundable pre-reservation pass for Rs 1,999. Those who pre-reserve will get a Rs 5,000 voucher, which can be used to purchase other products from Samsung’s online store.

As of now, the South Korean tech giant has not officially confirmed the sales or delivery date for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 or the Z Flip 5. However, it appears that the new foldables will be available for purchase sometime between August 12th and August 18th, 2023, with the latest possible date being August 22nd.
