X, formerly Twitter, has officially revealed the minimum requirements for Ad revenue sharing.

The ad revenue sharing was announced last month by Elon Musk when X was on Twitter.

Monetization on X is now available in India and is open to Twitter Blue subscribers only. This option is available for Twitter Blue subscribers and Verified Organizations subscribers.

In addition to the Twitter Blue subscription, the company has revealed a set of requirements creators need to meet to be eligible for the Ad revenue-sharing program.

X Creator Monetization Requirements

Here are all the minimum requirements for the X Creator Monetization program:

  • Twitter Blue subscription or Verified Organization subscription
  • Minimum of 500 followers
  • 15 million impressions in posts in the past three months

Minimum Payout Amounts, Payment Method & More

Creators who meet the minimum requirements will be able to enrol in the program after July 31. Creators will be able to set up Ad revenue sharing and subscriptions separately. Users will also receive a notification saying they’re eligible for Ad revenue sharing once a user meets these minimum requirements.

There is a minimum payout like YouTube, and it is set at $50.

The payments are settled through Stripe, and creators will be required to have a Stripe account to receive payments from revenue sharing.

In addition to all these, X notes that users need to adhere to Ads Revenue Share Terms, which include Creator Monetization Standards and the X Rules
