Honor may announce two new foldable phones at the upcoming IFA 2023 tech exhibition, which will be held at 10 am (CEST) on September 1st, 2023, in Berlin. Shown below is the poster rolled out by the brand, which confirms its presence at the upcoming IFA 2023.

The official teaser suggests that the brand may showcase two foldable phones at the upcoming event for the global market. Last month, Honor unveiled the Magic V2 foldable in the Chinese market and in the first half of the year. It is likely that the same device will make its global debut on September 1st. At present, it is unclear what the other foldable phone from the brand could be. Here is a look at the specifications of the Magic V2.

The Honor Magic V2 has a 6.43-inch OLED LTPO cover display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the inside, the device features a 7.92-inch OLED LTPO foldable screen that offers a 2K resolution of 2,156 x 3,144 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device runs MagicOS 7.2-based Android 13 and has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

The Magic V2 features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2’s overclocked version that clocks at 3.36GHz. The device offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging.

The V2 has a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and on the back, it has a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with autofocus, and a 20-megapixel telephoto camera with OIS and 2.5x optical zoom support. The V2 offers other features, such as dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, dual-frequency, a USB Type-C (USB 3.1) port, and dual speakers.

Honor is reportedly working on a flip phone, which is expected to launch in Q1 2024 in China. However, there is a possibility that the other foldable phone that can be seen on Honor’s IFA 2023 teaser could be its first flip phone.
