Realme GT 5 Pro specifications
According to the tipster, the Realme GT 5 Pro will have a curved-edge AMOLED panel that offers a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will run on the Realme UI 4.0-based Android 13.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is set to launch in October this year, will power the Realme GT 5 Pro. The inclusion of the chip indicates that the device will arrive with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The rear camera setup of the phone will have a Sony IMX9-series 50-megapixel main camera, an unknown ultra-wide snapper, and an OV64B OmniVision 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. There is no word about the front camera of the device.
The Realme GT 5 Pro will pack a 5,400mAh battery that supports 100W charging and 50W wireless charging. By doing so, the GT 5 Pro will become the first Realme phone to offer wireless charging. The flagship phone will also support the UFCS (Universal Fast Charging Specification) charging protocol. For those who are not aware, UFCS is a new fast-charging protocol that is being developed by a consortium of Chinese smartphone manufacturers, such as Huawei, OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi.
As can be seen, the specifications of the Realme GT 5 Pro are almost identical to those of the OnePlus 12. According to DCS, the OnePlus 12 differs by offering better heat dissipation and exclusive customization features. Being a GT series phone, the GT 5 Pro is expected to sport a better design than the OnePlus 12.
