The Bollywood movie Ghoomer was released theatrically on August 18, 2023, worldwide. Ghoomer will arrive on OTT after its theatrical run. Though the OTT streaming partner of the movie is currently unknown, given the positive word of mouth it is garnering and its top-notch cast and crew, it can be deduced that leading digital streamers, including Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, Netflix, SonyLIV, and others, will try to bag the OTT rights to the movie Ghoomer.

Young batting prodigy Anina (Saiyami Kher) loses her right hand due to an accident. Padam and Anina together develop the revolutionary Ghoomer bowling technique.

Ghoomer has received positive reviews from critics and audiences. According to The Hindu, “Director R Balki spins a heartwarming tale that celebrates gutsy people not defined by physical and emotional limitations in this cricket drama”. And they also add that “Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher pitch it right in this uplifting sports drama.” The India Today gave the film 2.5 out of 5 stars. They feel “Ghoomer has all the right intentions. It is not a story of sympathy but empathy.
