Sukhee, the upcoming Bollywood movie, is produced by Krishnan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, and Shikhaa Sharma. Following their successful joint venture of smashing movies, including Airlift (2016), Sherni (2021), Chhorii (2021), and Jalsa (2022), T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment announced their upcoming film Sukhee. It is scheduled to be released theatrically on September 22, 2023. Shilpa Shetty, who will soon be seen in the Rohit Shetty series Indian Police Force alongside Sidharth Malhotra, Deepika Padukone, Vivek Oberoi, Prakash Raj, and others, plays the titular character in Sukhee. Shilpa Shetty recently announced the theatrical release date of Sukhee on her social media handles. The post reads, “This is my story, yours, and all of ours. Meet Sukhpreet Kalra, aka #Sukhee, and come to my world on September 22nd, only in theatres.” (translated) The filming of the movie commenced in March last year.

Sukhee Storyline

In this humorous slice-of-life tale, 38-year-old Punjabi housewife Sukhee, tired of her everyday life, travels to Delhi for her school reunion. In just seven days, Sukhee encounters vast new experiences while reliving her 17-year-old self. She emerges from the experience feeling rejuvenated and having made the most challenging transition of her life: transitioning from being a wife and mother to being a woman once more.
