According to information from Mishaal Rahman (from, an insider tip suggests that Google is exploring the integration of a novel AI feature designed to enhance group photos captured by Pixel devices. The survey outlines two specific scenarios, both of which revolve around sports-related contexts.

The scenarios listed strongly allude to the existence of a feature known as “Audio Magic Eraser,” which was revealed in a leaked commercial for the upcoming Google Pixel 8 series.

  • “Eliminate the shouting of the fan in the next seat from your game-winning shot video with your phone’s amazing AI video noise removal.”
  • “Enhance the sound of your friends and family’s reactions during a thrilling game, while minimizing the background stadium noise with your phone’s amazing AI video noise removal.”

There are two additional scenarios listed that point toward the existence of a feature related to AI-driven photo stitching— something we haven’t heard till now.

  • “No worries if someone’s distracted during a group photo, your phone’s AI can still make it into a perfect group photo.”
  • “Create the perfect team picture by merging everyone’s best shot with your phone’s AI technology, so everyone looks great.”

These developments are in line with the anticipated UI overhaul of the Google Camera app that is scheduled to drop with the Pixel 8 series. As the October launch of Google’s next flagship approaches, it’s likely that more details regarding these features will emerge.
