Jailer Box Office Collection Report: Rajinikanth movie continues to post bumper worldwide collection

Thailaivar Rajinikanth’s latest film, “Jailer,” has once again proven its blockbuster status. The impressive earnings of the movie have now reached a staggering Rs 600 crore. While there was a slight dip in box office collections during the second week, the overall performance remains remarkable.

According to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, the global box office collection of “Jailer” stands at around Rs 566 crore. The film achieved a substantial earning of Rs 450.80 crore during its first week worldwide. In the subsequent six days of the second week, “Jailer” managed to secure an impressive Rs 115 crore.

In Rajinikanth’s exciting new movie, the story revolves around a smart criminal who plans a big escape from prison. Rajinikanth also plays the tough prison warden who wants to stop him. The criminal gets other prisoners to help him, but the warden, Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, stands up against him. When the criminal escapes successfully, the warden teams up with a determined police officer and the criminal’s ex-wife to catch him. This clash between their smarts and determination makes the story really exciting and full of suspense.

There have been rumours circulating on social media about the possibility of the movie “Jailer” being released on OTT platforms. According to these reports, the action-thriller will be made available for streaming on the Sun Nxt platform. It is said that Sun Nxt, in collaboration with Netflix, has acquired the digital rights for the movie. The film will be released in languages such as Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu. The reports further suggest that the movie will be available for streaming approximately 28 days after its theatrical release, which is expected to be around September 7th.
