[Exclusive] Motorola Edge 2023 render leaked, here’s the first look at its design

We at Pricebaba, have obtained a render of the upcoming Motorola Edge 2023 from a trusted source. The leaked render gives a first look at the design of the smartphone. The Edge 2023’s moniker indicates that it will be positioned lower than the Edge+ 2023, which features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and is priced at $799.

The technical details of the Edge 2023 are not known yet. The Edge+ 2023 is available under the name Motorola Edge 40 Pro in Europe and the Moto X40 in China. Hence, there is a possibility that the forthcoming Edge 2023 could be a rebranded or tweaked version of the existing Edge 40.

The overall appearance of the Motorola Edge 2023 is quite similar to the Edge 40. The device can be seen sporting a curved-edge OLED panel, which appears to be equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner. On the back, it has a slightly raised camera module that houses a dual camera system with two LED flash units. The blurry text in the camera module hints that it is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera.

The back panel of the Edge 2023 seems to have a leather-like texture. While the left edge appears barren, its right side has a volume rocker and a power key.

Motorola Edge 40 specifications

At present, there is no concrete information about the specifications of the Motorola Edge+ 2023. Here is a look at the specifications of the Edge 40 since it may get rebranded as the Edge 2023 in the US.

The Motorola Edge 40 has a 6.55-inch P-OLED display that offers Full HD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The Dimensity 8020-powered device ships with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage in India. It has a 4,400mAh battery with 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging support.

The back panel of the Edge 40 has a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. On the front, the device is equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It comes with Android 13 and the My UX user interface.
