OPPO A38 price, specifications, and renders have emerged in a new report by Appuals. In recent weeks, the A38 has bagged multiple certifications, such as Bluetooth SIG, Thailand’s NBTC, Malaysia’s SIRIM, the UAE’s TDRA, Singapore’s IMDA, India’s BIS, and the FCC. With several certifications under its belt, it appears that the A38 will be announced in the next few weeks.

According to the report, the OPPO A38 will have a 6.56-inch LCD waterdrop notch screen that offers an HD+ resolution of 1,612 x 720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device will run on the Android 13 operating system, customised with OPPO’s ColorOS 13 UI.

The A38 is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a spacious 128GB of internal storage. It will house a 5,000mAh battery, which can be charged through a USB Type-C port.

The A38’s back panel has a dual-camera arrangement, which comprises a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth or macro camera featuring an f/2.4 aperture. The primary rear camera will support full HD video recording at 30fps. For selfies, the A38 will be equipped with a 5-megapixel front camera.

The OPPO A38 is equipped with other features, such as a microSD card slot, dual nano-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. For security, it will offer features like face unlock and a side-facing fingerprint sensor.  Lastly, the phones will come with an IP54-rated polycarbonate chassis.

The report further states that the OPPO A38, which will come in a 4GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration only, will be priced at €159 (~Rs 14,200) in Europe. It will be available in black and gold colour options. As far as launch is concerned, the A38 may debut in September in Europe. It is also expected to be released in other markets, including India, soon after.
