Tecno Phantom V Flip’s newest leak render has revealed its cover display. While other brands are opting for a larger cover display, Tecno’s iteration of the Phantom V Flip sports a round design. It is placed inside a circular camera module, which seems to house a dual-camera system and an LED flash. In the leaked image, the Phantom V Flip is placed inside a textured cover.

The Phantom V Flip will be the company’s second foldable phone after the Phantom V Fold. While the V Fold is a horizontally foldable device, the Phantom V Flip is a vertically foldable phone like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, the Motorola Razr 40 series, and the OPPO Find N3 Flip. Here is a look at the leaked specifications of the V Flip.

Tecno Phantom V Flip specifications (rumoured)

According to reports, the Tecno Phantom V Flip will arrive with a 6.75-inch Full HD+ AMOLED foldable screen offering a 144 Hz refresh rate. The phone will run on HiOS 13-based Android 13.

The Phantom V Flip will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset. It is expected to arrive with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. In terms of battery, the device will house a 4,000mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.

The Phantom V Flip could feature an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel primary rear camera along with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide snapper. For selfies, it comes with a 32-megapixel sensor located on the inner display. The phone is expected to offer other features, such as 5G. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB Type-C port, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

The rumour mill is yet to reveal the price of the Phantom V Flip. The above specifications suggest that it could be priced at around Rs 50,000. The device is expected to debut in the last quarter of 2023. It is expected to arrive in three colour options: Minimal Black, Film White, and Periwinkle Purple.
