By mid-2023, a Xiaomi device with model number 2311BPN23C had been spotted in the IMEI database. However, it is only now that another IMEI database listing has confirmed that it will be called the Xiaomi MIX Flip. The number “2311” hints that the device could be launched in November 2023.

Reports have revealed that the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro will be announced in November in China. Hence, it is likely that the Xiaomi MIX Flip may debut with the Xiaomi 14 lineup. Contradictory reports state that the device may launch with the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in the first quarter of 2024.

Shown above is a design schematic of the Xiaomi MIX Flip created by GSMChina. As can be seen, the design language of the device is identical to the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3. It is speculated that the MIX Flip will be a very thin and lightweight device.

The MIX Flip is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It is speculated that the rear-facing triple camera unit of the device will have a telephoto camera that supports up to 3x optical zoom. The other specifications of the MIX Flip are under wraps.
