iPhone 15 Pro: Apple slashes price of back glass replacements In these models

• Apple has slashed the price of back glass replacement from Rs 59,900 to Rs 16,900 for the Pro Max models
• This change is due to the new internal design that Apple first introduced with iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus

Apple is infamous for charging high prices for iPhone back glass replacements, especially on the Pro models. It is changing, as Apple has significantly reduced back glass replacement prices with the iPhone 15 Pro models. 

Apple announced the official prices of replacement parts via the Apple Support website after the launch of the iPhone 15 series. 

iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max come with a more repairable internal design, allowing the back glass to be easily removed from the device. This change was first made with iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. Now, the back glass replacement of new models doesn’t cost almost a new iPhone 13! 

Back Glass Replacement Costs For iPhone 15 Pro (vs. iPhone 14 Pro)

Here are the prices of back glass replacement for new iPhone 15 Pro models, compared to the same for last year’s Pro models:

• Back glass replacement cost for iPhone 15 Pro Max – Rs 16,900 (Rs 59,900 for iPhone 14 Pro Max)
• Back glass replacement cost for iPhone 15 Pro – Rs 14,900 (Rs 52,900 for iPhone 14 Pro)

Apple users with AppleCare+ can pay just Rs 2,500 for fixing the back glass. 

Other Replacement Parts Costs Remains Unchanged

The only change with the cost of replacement parts is with the back glass of iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. There is no significant change in the price of other parts when comparing the iPhone 15 series with the iPhone 14 series.
