The specifications of the smartphone are no secret, as the brand has already revealed everything about it through its microsite available on Flipkart. In addition, the device has already gone official in European markets.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo costs €399 (~Rs 35,500) in Europe. As per the new leak, the device will cost Rs 24,999 in India, which indicates that it will be positioned lower than the Motorola Edge 40, which was priced at Rs 29,999 at launch earlier this year. The leaked price may belong to the base variant (8GB+128GB) of the device. Motorola has already confirmed that the Edge 40 Neo will arrive in shades such as Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, and Soothing Sea. For those who don’t know, the device is all set to debut on September 21st, 2023.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is fitted with a 6.55-inch P-OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, a pixel density of 409ppi, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit colours, and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. It will be the first phone to arrive in India with the Dimensity 7030 chip onboard.

The Edge 40 Neo will ship with 8GB / 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The device comes with support for up to 15 5G bands and runs on MyUX-based Android 13. It packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging.

The rear camera setup of the Motorola Edge 40 Neo includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), accompanied by a versatile 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens capable of macro shots. For selfies and video calls, the Edge 40 Neo has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The device offers other features, such as an in-screen fingerprint scanner, an IP68-rated chassis, dual stereo speakers with support for Moto Spatial Sound and Dolby Atmos, and up to 15 5G bands.
