Fans can now finally watch Agent on SonyLIV on September 29, 2023. News regarding the same were shared on social media platforms.

The film was earlier expected to release on May 19, however, it was initially postponed for a month. Later, the OTT platform decided to postpone it indefinitely and no details regarding the same were shared by the makers or the streaming platform.

The narrative centres around P. Ramakrishna, also known as Rickey, who faces rejection from the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) three times when applying for the role of an agent. Despite his hyperactive nature and unwavering passion for becoming a spy, Rickey is finally granted an opportunity by RAW chief Mahadev, who is nicknamed The Devil, after he manages to hack into his system. In a covert operation, Rickey is assigned the task of uncovering the action plan orchestrated by a mastermind called God, who intends to execute a destructive scheme against the nation. Rickey’s mission now entails successfully locating the plan and thwarting God’s nefarious plot to safeguard the country.
