POCO C65 likely to launch this month, IMEI database listing reveals key details

POCO C65 launch seems imminent. The reason behind this is that the device has been spotted in the IMEI database, and it has also bagged approval from Indonesia’s TKDN certification platform.

This year, POCO unveiled a few C-series phones, such as the POCO C55, POCO C51, and POCO C50. The POCO C65 will succeed the C55, which suggests that the brand may also unveil phones such as the POCO C61 and POCO C60 in the coming months. At present, the rumour mill has spilt only the initial details of the C65. Here is a look at what to expect from the device.

POCO C65 IMEI database listing suggests it could be rebranded Redmi 13C

According to a report by Xiaomiui, the Poco C65 has surfaced in the IMEI database with model numbers 2310FPCA4G for the global variant and 2310FPCA4I for the Indian variant. The device is internally known as the C3V, and it goes by the codename “air.” Notably, the model numbers, containing “2310,” suggest a potential release in October.

According to the publication, the Poco C65 is expected to be a rebranded version of the yet-to-be-official Redmi 13C, which is associated with model numbers 23100RN82L (Latin America), 23108RN04Y, and 23106RN0DA. The report also states that the device will come preinstalled with the latest Android 14 OS, which will have a layer of MIUI 14 on top. The C55 has a microUSB port, but the successor model is tipped to come equipped with a USB Type-C port.

Shown above is one of the leaked renders of the Redmi 13C, which emerged last month. The device can be seen sporting a waterdrop notch display and a triple-camera system with a 50-megapixel primary camera and an LED flash on the back. The 13C is expected to arrive in three shades, such as black, blue, and light green.

Unfortunately, the rumour mill is yet to spill the specifications of the 13C. Nevertheless, the POCO C65 is expected to pack the same specs as the 13C, but it is likely to sport a redesigned rear panel.
